Short Way In
While this name implies just what this trail is, many students think, before they attempt the trail, that it is a misnomer. As the trail is about half a mile in length, only covering a small circle through the Cogarin Forest, looks are deceiving.

One Mile Loop
This short loop just makes its way through the forest without really hitting any dangerous obstacles. There are a few rocks along the path, but nothing that cannot be seen from ahead and compensated for.

Five Mile Run
Even though, according to the name, this trail should be five miles, it actually isn't. In truth, it is five and a half miles. Once, a mudslide blocked part of the path, and the route was replanted. The name, however, was never changed.

Ten Mile Trail
This trail pulls around part of the forest. It is the widest of the school trails, but by far not the easiest. Students refer to it as the 'Slalom Trail' because of the many obstacles there are to weave around.

Marathon Lap
This trail is about twenty-six miles long. It winds in and out of the forest, and a section of it actually crosses over the Frozen Lake. Most advanced students are able to take this route in a day, although the intermediate mushers might take two.

A Long Way Home
This trail is the longest the school has on campus. It is almost a hundred miles in length, and takes even the best teams a couple of days to complete. Only the most advanced students are allowed to actually run this course. Otherwise, it is used as a bonding route for various classes.

Director's Cabin
This two-story log cabin is the permanent residence of the current principle of the school. At the moment, it is inhabited by Madame Blinkshana. It is only a short way into the forest, but is still far out enough to be obscured from common view by the trees. Students should not come here without invitation.
